Viking River Cruise Staterooms

Viking Longships feature a patented corridor design that maximizes space and views, allowing for a variety of stateroom categories. Guests can choose from French Balcony Staterooms, full Veranda Staterooms, Veranda Suites, and Explorer Suites, which include separate living areas and wraparound verandas with river views.

Every stateroom includes a queen-size Viking Explorer Bed (convertible to twins), free Wi-Fi, and an infotainment system with live TV, movies on demand, and Viking’s own in-house programming. Additional features include a private bathroom with heated floors, premium Freyja® toiletries, plush robes and slippers upon request, and daily bottled water. The Ships

Viking River Cruise Longships

Viking Longships are purpose-built for river cruising, with sleek Scandinavian design, panoramic windows, and open-air spaces that bring the outdoors in. These award-winning ships carry just 190 guests, offering a quiet, spacious atmosphere with no casinos, no kids, and no crowds. Every Longship features al fresco dining on the Aquavit Terrace, a light-filled lounge and bar, a curated library, and a walking track and herb garden on the top deck—all designed to connect guests with the landscapes they’re sailing through.

Longship Features

Each Viking Longship carries just 190 guests in 95 all-outside staterooms, including French Balcony, Veranda, and Suite categories. All suites feature two full-size rooms with a veranda off the living area and a French balcony in the bedroom. Onboard spaces are designed for connection and calm: the Aquavit Terrace offers al fresco dining and front-row views at the bow, while the Lounge & Bar and Restaurant feature floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic river scenery.

Guests can relax on the Sun Deck, which includes a shaded sitting area, walking track, putting green, and an organic herb garden powered by solar panels. Ships are equipped with hybrid engines for a quieter, smoother ride, and free Wi-Fi, an infotainment system, and access to a library and onboard shop. An elevator connects the Middle and Upper decks (Note: stateroom categories E & F are not elevator-accessible). Laundry service is available onboard.
